Hi, I really like the tone of the renders, the wall covering is very "shibumi". Small details, but the columns coming down to the counter top appear to be bigger then the wall below, but doesn't continued below the counter top as I might expect. To me, the theater seating looks like it is made of a hard plastic, uncomfortable to sit in. I do not care for its scale, perhaps too bulky for the small room. In a play environment, I would not expect to see a woman carrying her shoulder bag. I am being picky, but the render and its style is good, and these minor details seem to jump out.

yeah, the chairs did not come out well at all... but there was no time to fix. the column is an illusion..its actually the same thickness as the wall.. i do try to be anal in my modelling the entourage...yeah, this is the issue you run into when waiting until 2am to stick it in

Excellent!

Excellent work, especially on such a small timescale.

very well done! Normallly I love pure realistic renders but this style is very pleasing and shows the creativity of the planner.
-
Brilliant work marked001- Impressed again (as usual)by a really class style. Love it.
-
Well done! That is one heck of a party room.
-
love the style! would it be too much if I asked you to share the workflow in a couple of words?
well done! -
yeah...no magic here... just the render and a couple line exports from sketchup with varying extension lengths (no idea if this actually makes it look any better..but i still do it)... then overlay all in pshop and blend/multiply the line layers and give them varying opacities..
-
superultimate work man , are there textures [applied with SU]. on the wall or done photoshopping?
-
all done in sketchup/podium.... just used pshop to do the line overlays

wow. can you share the style file please. i.e. the sketchup style that you apply for the watercolour effect. That'll be really nice of you.
-
I think the style for these is from FormFonts.... fineline ink..or something close to that.
-
Really like your renders.
How did you do the people? Are they Photoshop or SU-models? -
2d fotofigure models from FormFonts..

Wow that is real nice...
totally love that style of presentation.. that is exactly the look i need for my work...
shame i do not have the skill set to produce it...how long does soemthing like this typically take...

Andy
