          For tubing you can use this: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=12354&p=88592#p88592
          Tube Along Path and Pipe Along Path will accomplish that also, if that is what you are after.

            you don't need a plugin for the tubing though - use followme tool

              Maybe not. But I would definitely recommed using it when it comes to this, for instance:chassis.jpg

                this is the best way to go about it... (and if i may add the easiest) all you need to do is make the lines (or curves) along which you want the surface and then simply use this wonderful plugin to create the surface for you.
