Greetings SketchUcation! Thanks for the wonderfully friendly forum to discuss Sketchup. I'm just getting learning to use Sketchup, and I am very excited about it. My projects are actually very simple, but Sketchup seems like it will be an ideal application. I actually started dabbling with it about a year (or two) ago, but quickly got side-tracked, and I am just now getting back into it. I'm glad to have found this forum.

My problem is that I'm can't find how to set my default preferences for the Mac version. I'm using Sketchup 8 Pro, on Mac OS x 10.6.7. On the PC I remember there being a preferences panel that allowed the user to set the default color, text style, etcetera. I'm not finding it on the mac. I have to edit each dimension line individually. It's getting really tedious.

      Thanks for your help.

Okay. That was my first newbie lesson. The answer was in the basic Google tutorial video on dimensions. For posterity...go to Window>Model Info>Dimensions.
