How to use Sketchup 3D Warehouse

Very Newbie question here. 3D Warehouse doesn't seem to have instructions on how to download and use models from their site. 
It may be so obvious that instructions are not needed. 
Problem 1: After finding the needed model and downloading it I don't know how to access the file I just downloaded from the components window in Sketchup. (I saved the '.skp' file in the 'My Documents' folder.)
Problem 2: How do I add models to "My Favorites" and "My Models" sections at the 3D Warehouse site and then be able to access these models from the components window in Sketchup? What is the purpose of these items?

Components are just simple, ordinary skp files. If you download one anywhere, you can open them or you can import them into your existing model from File > Import - where you need to select the proper file type (skp).
Or simply drag and drop it from your file list into your open SU window...
You can find the components that your component browser uses here:
C:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 8\Components
They are organised into folders. You can add as many folder and into them, as many skp files as you want.
