      hello
I made a mistake and I erased a big part of the ground of my spaceship
now I would like to repare it but I dont know how to replace the ground
it's only a simple plate piece but as you can see on pics there is different angles

p.s. perhaps if I copy the ship and I put to the copy a mirror effect and I put one the top of the other?
but I dont know how to make mirror effect (I tryed with 'S' and right click but I have no option for this)

here is a pic before mistake

here is a pic after mistake

      thanks for your help

At first glance, I think if you use the pencil tool and draw from one corner to another along the edge of the disappeared face the surface will return.
If it does not, you will have to draw across the empty space much like you show in your tracings. Faces are likely to form in this way.
I hope you are looking at the tutorials we have suggested.

            Hi, erzane:
As for the mirror effect, with basic Sketchup you do use the "S" or Scale tool. You select the geometry you wish to mirror and click on one of the grips in the scale box, drag it through to the other side, or type in -1 in vcb, or Value Control Box.
