Changing Texture colours

Hi
I have a siding texture and need to change the colour. I have made the colour with the colour picker using the RGB numbers supplied by the paint manufacturer, now I want to attach that colour to my texture. By accident I managed to do it once, but I can't seem to be able to do it again. Can anybody please help?
