Solar North (SU Pro) causes bugsplat

I can't use Seth North Tool from Solar North toolbar, because each time I use it, I got BugSplat. Is this happening to anyone else too, or is just me?

Let me guess: this causes the problem 
. Is any fix for that? Can be the plugin updated to not interfere? -
Dan made a fix for it (I have that version already). I am not sure if it is posted here in the plugins forum - let me check (if not, I can PM it but I am not supposed to publicly post other people's modified plugins).

Can you ask for permission ?
I really use the plugin, it saves me a lot of space. -
It must be published somewhere but I cannot find. See your PM.

I sent the "patch" to Jim... and I thot he would post it on his website, as that's where most users are used to getting updates for it.
Meanwhile, I'm still working on the updated version. (Remember it took Jim around 4 months work to do the original.)
