The three illustration show a yellow background rectangle, 2'wide by 10' tall. Starting at the bottom at the center line closest I can get the 4x13 I beam to vertical is 9/64 off the center vertical line at the top. So right now I can not draw any beams exactly vertical.
Hope this helps.

Ken:
For comparison's sake, I did a similar test and do not seem to have an issue with true verticality. I used the 'column' tool and my column was 12'-0" tall. I noticed that you used the term 'beam' ... are you by any chance using the beam tool to try to draw a vertical line as a column? Is that perhaps the cause?

Well yes, I am using the beam tool, along with the "bar, T-bar, pipe, angles and beams" None these selection will make a vertical object. Note, zooming in for a real close view, I can see that as long as the top (note going from the top to bottom doesn't make a difference) selection point is outside the area where the point will be snapped to the vertical I can make any of the above objects. However, if I let Sketchup snap take over and the point is snap to a vertical position, than the program will not make the selected object, "beam, bars, pipe angle or beams". See the attached file.

Hi.
At first, when working with the class "wall" ,you can not pick second point to vertical.I need to know more detailed information if this is not your case.
- Screen shot of setting inBst dialog.
- The axis the slope directing to.(x,y,z)
- The message Ruby console shows when the error is exists.
- I want to see the two picked points were truely vertical.
Please reply about lines above.
Thanks -

Maybe only need keep one of dialog box!
-
tak2hata:
now, a times only can choose one entity or face,Whether it can be a much choose?moreover, have extend to face already,so maybe show to face no need !?
Thanks!
-
Dear tak2hata:
However,I still have some ideas to speak out,Because I love too the plugin,I believe that your this plugin will produce very big help to BIM.1. **grow to face** only useful for "Z",but for **MWALL** is invalid; 2. The shape of the face for ladder;**grow** or **extend** is invalid too; 3. One-time much choose can greatly improve the efficiency of the modeling. ....
THANKS AGAIN !

I have what I hope is a simple question. How do I change the color of any beam, column, etc. before placing/drawing it? In the webdialog box, the option default is black. No matter which color I type into the box, the color remains a light blue color.
Thanks,

Hi,
I am too busy.So I can not improve my plugins.Multiple "Grow to face" will be added.
I will consider applying "Grow" for "MWALL".

The color is material.
Beams material is created from "FRONT FACE MATERIAL" and "BACK FACE MATERIAL".
It appears random color when the materialnames in "FRONT FACE MATERIAL" and "BACK FACE MATERIAL" is not existed in sketchup model. So you may set sketchup templete with the materials.
Thanks.

That makes sense!
Thanks.
