      Hi All,
For some reason I'm having a problem trying to make a simple Style output image? Not sure why? I have set up a thick hidden line image for output. I tried exporting, printing to a PDF output and even sending the image through Layout at very high resolutions. But every option yields a very jagged image and the thick line profile is gone and only a thin line profile is outputed? Does anyone have any Ideas?
      Thanks,
      Matte

        Hi, Matte:
I don't know why someone has not answered your question by now. Maybe post an image to see where you are right now.

Thanks for the response, I Tried another drawing and all went OK. I ended up touching it up in Photoshop anyway, it took a bit longer, but it's done.

I only just saw this and maybe it's too late.

The lines in sketchy line styles are PNG images that are defined by their width in pixels. That width is a fixed number of pixels. If you export at some high resolution setting, the should and lines will appear thinner than they will when the export is at a lower resolution (assuming you're viewing both images at the same size on your screen. This is a way of extending the look of your various line styles. The following three images are from the same view and same line style. The only thing different is the export size.

Screen size. About 1200 pixels wide.

              3000 pixels wide.

As to the jagged edges, without seeing what you were getting, it is difficult to say what was causing that.

                Hi, Dave:
I was thinking that you would eventually see this. Maybe I should have called your attention to it? I know that you are the Stylesmeister.💚

Well I don't know about that. But thank you. 😄

                  Did I make sense?

Your explanation made sense to me. However, I am not practiced in this area. I do salute your abilities in the styles arena. 👍 <is that a salute? 💚

                      Thanks Dave,
That makes total sence! Now that I think of it a lower Res output would be better anyway as I was going for a rough look anyway. The other test Image you helped me with in the corner bar area has a bit too much "clean line feel" because I made the image large and reduced it, I'll export it much smaller next time for the "real" sketch. Thanks again for your advise a bit of enlightenment is always welcome.
