Very slow sketchucation

i mean no insult, i am enjoying the forum -
is it just me or is this site very slow between threads?
my browser works fine for most sites but it takes like a minute or so when i click 'new posts' or 'next page' (browser says "waiting for s3.buysellads.com" or something)
this cannot be standard - is there a way to optimise it?cheers all

This forum works great for me, but I have the exact same thing that you described on the Thea Forum site, so I would be interested in what may be the root cause.

Normally the forum works fine (for me) but occasionally I also experience unbearable lags. I do not know what causes it, seriously.
As for the Thea forums; that is integrated into their cms system (joomla) so that may also contribute to its slowness (sometimes). To me, it is indeed slower than SCF but honestly I have not experienced anything extreme there either. Maybe that is constantly somewhat slower while ours is more hectic.

Oh man, he was hilarious. He was kicked out of dropbox because his (rather huge) texture packs got millions of hits in a couple of days.
