      Hello to you all folks!
There is something that is bothering me about UV texturing.
Can it be achieved inside SU or do I need an extra APP? And if so, are there any free out there? ... and possibly (if not much to ask) point a direction of a tutorial showing the workflow that needs to be followed to have a descent render?

        Hi Antonis,

What UV texturing are you trying to achieve? There are a couple of plugins that can help (although non of them is the "ultimate solution" yet).

          Hi Antonis,

There is also another plugin, called Tgi3D SU Amorph, which includes a UV mapping and texturing feature, along with other tools. There is a Free Training version with a limit on the number of vertices.

If you want to try the unlimited version of the UV mapping and texturing tool, you can download the 30-Day Trial Edition of Tgi3D SU PhotoScan which contains all the features that are included in Tgi3D SU Amorph (UV mapping and texturing is one of them) plus additional features for creating 3D models from photographs.

Well I was thinking about curtains, light caps, vases, and things like that!
Thanks for answering so quickly Gai and of course for the links!
I was aware about the TGI plugin but I was looking more for a free one cause if I download the trial I am sure I ll be tempted to buy it! πŸ˜„ .
by the way the workflow is quite simple, as it seems!!!
            Thank U both.
            Cheers
