Sketchup 7.1
-
I am using Sketchup 7.1 because of the dxf import cpability. Downloaded it from a link that was posted on this site. Now I'm getting messages saying "Only X minutes remaining." Do I have to register/pay for this program, or is there a way to get it permanently for free? Thx.

Over Google, only the Pro versions of previous builds are available (they never support older versions of the Free product) so you must have installed that.
No worries however. When it expires, it will downgrade to the functionalities of the free version and you can keep using it. It will display as "expired" in the window title bar however but that's all and it is really a cosmetics issue only.

If importing dwg/dxf is an issue, there is a (free) import plugin for that: http://sketchuppluginreviews.com/2010/02/06/autocad-dwgdxf-import-plugin-for-google-sketchup/

Dear Gaieus,
I recently changed my hard-drive and would like to re-install SU V7.1. I believe there is a Google Sketchup site that allows me to do that, but I cannot find it. Do you have the link please?
Kind regards,
Bob -
Here are 6.4 and 7.1 (pro) available both for Windows and Mac.

This is the download page that SketchUp 7 send me to for an upgrade - it appears to have more international versions:
