Sphere with three holes
-
Hi,
I am trying to model a sphere with three holes in it, the holes need to be in the Z axis with each hole being centered on a point of an equilateral triangle centered about the origin. it would sort of look like a bowling ball. Can this be done with SketchUp? I can revolve a sphere with a single hole in its center, but the three holes, or an off-center hole becomes a problem.
Thanks
By the way, the video tutorials for this program are excellent. I only get one or two Kbps on a satellite connection, so it takes all night to download one, but they are extremely helpful for anyone picking up this program.

Can you figure out the way to do yourself from the step by step instructions (they re not too detailed) or should I explain more?
