I tried with a simple terrain but I get a totally flat mesh

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
From what I see of the result (last grey image) apparently it hasn't been reshaped at all (all faces should be equilateral triangles).

Weather: snowy (20cm yesterday, now heavily snowing again)

I tried with a much simpler terrain and it works perfectly.
Something must be wrong with my terrain.
