Hi there, name's Joe and I'm from Canada. Recently discovered SU to aid my project on using PVC pipes to build a frame.

I downloaded a component package called "2" pvc sch 40 10'pipe" and it loaded into my project. All the pipes/fittings came in a grouped entity so I use "explode" so I could arrange each piece individually. I used ctrl+c/v to create more pipes as I need them, however when I tried to adjust a pipe's length using the "push/pull" function, it would modify the length of ALL other pipes i copied from? Is there a way to create individual objects that does not synchronize with other objects?

      Thanks

        Hi PB and welcome!

You probably insert components, not groups (and you should not explode them). Components could be called "special groups" and their feature is that if you edit one instance of the same definition, all other instances will be affected.

If you only want to make one piece different, right click and "Make unique". Only edit it afterwards.
