What I seen wxSU can be a little troublesome - personally I have not got problems with it. Perhaps look if some other plugin goes use it too with a conflicting way... Interesting point is that SU8 seems to tolerate wxSU better (at-least that was the experience with SU2Thea).

Well, to be honest, I don't have any other plugins in my SU that use WxSU, so I can't tell if thay goes in conflict!
By the way, in TECLA every tool works in a ruby-module so I think that they doesn't have any problem, but only users can tell me if no ....

is this supposed to be a windows-only plugin? .exe files do not run on macs.
could this be installed manually?

not at the moment. I think that in a few weeks I can release an OSX version (manually installable I think ...)
