Spiral Ramp
-
Hello, all. I'm newbie here, so no making fun of me..
But I am so glad I register here. So many knowledge about Sketch Up that is new to me.So, I have a question here about making a Spiral Ramp.
The height of the ramp is 4 meter with a 1:10 ramp. I wanted to make a ramp that is spiraling down from level 0.00 to -4.00, so I download the Shape bender, and did as the instructions told. But I never get the form that I want. The ramp is always straight.
I thought that it might be cause by the arc line that is intersecting, so I erase (trim) the extra line, but it still doesn't give the shape that I want.Help me guys. My boss will be so mad if I don't finish the modelling today.
thanks a bunch, kind mates!!!

Hi Cista and welcome. Could you attach the ramp along with the curve line you are trying to bend it around?
-
Yes well actually, the curve line is consist of 6 to 7 arc line, and i made it in one level because i couldn't make it spiral (i don't know the height of each point).

-
Well, a 6/7 segment curve can have very different bulges. So any chance for an attachment?

And with this plug you can draw a cool spiral

have you seen this video ?

Hello,
I'm really sorry for the late reply,
But i've tried once more and i made sure that each arc is connected, without any extended line from the joints, and finally, i've made a spiral ramp!!! thank you thanks a bunch for the help.
