I am trying to create a watershed map for the EPA (Enviromental Protection Agency) I have found some DTED and BIL formated files. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to import these elevation maps into Sketchup? The file format for the DTES is dt2. If not does anyone know where I might find some topographical maps that are compatible with Sketchup? Also I have seen some great topographical maps out there. Like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlehNeH5w1c. Does anyone know what plugin might have been used, or did this person just put in a lot of work. OK I am finished begging. πŸ˜„

Well, I keep approving your posts (welcome, by the way) but I cannot answer your first question. Regarding the video, it rather look like the lot of work kind.
