Stumped!

Hi folks, I've just bought the upgrade for Sketchup 8 and all has been going well up till the point I try to cast shadows in my model. I've checked that all components/groups have the abilility to receive and cast shadows checked. When I turn on shadows I can check the tick box for 'use sun for shading', but cannot select 'on face, from ground, on faces' as the buttons are greyed out.
Does anyone have any ideas. I have a GEForce CTS 240 graphics card. Panic , I am rushing to finish some work for a client!

Hi Julie,
At the top left of the Shadow info dialog, there is an icon/button to turn on shadows. You need to turn on shadows firstto be able to use those functions below.
In earlier versions, that button used to be a checkbox, too. Now and icon/button. -

Well, first I was looking for that checkbox myself. And I know others did as well so I was pretty sure that you had the same issue we did. You just came later.
