OMG!! I feel like a dinosaur ...
The image looks great, especially the terrain and vegetation.
How do you like 3ds max? U use it or it's just the connection between sketchup and v-ray for max?
Cheers! -
Thanks for looking guys.
@ stefanq: Hey bro I don't know if you remember me at asgvis?
I like SU by means of fast modelling/massing concept, weakness of it is handling polygons. If you have trees and bunch of stuff in one file it goes so slow. Polygon wise 3dmax is the best.My flow of work is model stuff in sketchup, then open max import skp (3dmax 2010 can do import of Skp file). If I need to edit some stuff, I go back to sketchup then import again to max (if you do import to 3dmax, model will drop in the same place as what you did in sketchup).
Terrain: I work on max when it comes to organic modelling.
landscape: I used max all the time.I render it in max with vray. vrayRT is fun and very useful when it comes to part of making materials and positioning lights.
That's it bro! I hope I gave you some ideas.
Thanks!

Excellent image.

Thanks for the fantastic insight on your work flow. I didn't have a clue that you could integrate SU with Max so easily. It sounds like a great way to ease yourself into working with Max whilst still taking advantage of SU's amazing UI. I'll have to give it a go with a demo version of Max.

Fantastic image. Tones are great and the foreground tree does not have the typical flat planes of leaves. I would love to see a render that shows more of the building and how it impacts the surrounding environment.
