[attachment=0:1oyi1wnh]<!-- ia0 -->faces.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:1oyi1wnh]Ehm,sorry friend i dont understand over there..what do you mean about facett ?..the triangle(poly) ?...and what do you mean about sample paint ?. thanks..
I done that, and i colored my mask with a texture, but i need to place a picture as a texture..and how can i position it? because when i right click the mask the option for position doesn't show up. -
Draw a simple face with the same size under/above the mask. You cannot access positioning tools on curved surfaces.
Now position the texture on that face THEN right click > Projected. You can sample a positioned/projected texture by clicking on it with the Paint Bucket while holding the Alt key. Sample it from the flat face and apply this sampled (and projected) image on the curved surface.

Thank you friend for your detailed reply
i will try and see if it works, but i know it works because ive done something similar onto another curved surface...i just didnt know it works on the mask too..||.oh by the way,if i create a bowl lets say..and i click show hidden geometry it has many squares not triangles...how do i make them triangles ? and how can i low down the number of them?i just delete them ?...thanks for your help guys,i am glad that i comed to this forum

Well, most of the cases it is all the same if they are triangles or rectangles (quad faces) but there is a Triangulate Quad Faces Plugin by TIG.
As for lowering a SU model's poly count, well, that is not an easy thing. There is a Polyreducer Plugin but that would work best on single mesh, organic models.
