      Hi there, I wonder if there is a possibility to customize toolbars (turn on and off some buttons), cause I don't need every tool at a time, and those are taking a lot of (valuable) space on the screen.

        There is no good single solution. You can edit the various Ruby Plugins if I can work out the codes.
        There is Jim's plugin which let you create your own toolbar sets out of SU's native commands, you you can't combine it with ruby toolbars.
