Guys, what's the most efficient way of modelling something like this?

      http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/2497/zahahadiddesignsthejeso.jpg

With all the glasses and various sizes of holes as seen in the image.

For the sake of accuracy, I would have the architectural plans in hand.
You probably could model by eye, making assumptions about dimensions all along the way.
First thing comes to mind is to use Fredo Curviloft.
Windows and other openings would need to be modeled after the form is completed.

I hope the architect has made provisions for the windows on top of the structure in the middle foreground. I would be concerned about water entering the closed structure, unless that is the intent.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

This is my quick attempt using the Curviloft tool as you suggested. I'm quite satisfied with the outcome. Adding windows and details would be no problem i guess by using lines on surface tool and other projection tools. The problem now is i can't figure how to model the holes, or is it easier to just map it out before rendering?

Oh btw, this is nothing serious, so accuracy is no biggie. Just wanted to try modelling something new.

            Hi,
I don´t know if the following is even relevant, but since it is a curved surface, to make a hole in it, you´ll have to cut through the geometry - see here - http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=11222

Or you can use this http://www.smustard.com/script/BoolTools

            Some interesting solutions here http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=28931&hilit=lattice

            Comfortably numb...
