Searching for selection_memory

I've been out of touch... just getting into V8, trying to get V7 plug ins working...
and failing with selection_memory, which is not listed under Jim in the plug in directory.
Has it been superseded, obsoletized... or perhaps I have been?
(I did find and re-download and reinstall it, but without improvement. The loaded toolbar is a rather empty box.)
Please advise.

There was a splat and on reload, sel_mem was there, so all is well in that little regard.
