There is the Wip thread!
I will post more soon!
To modeling! -
Should be a fun challenge, depending on the level of detail you intend to model I believe it would make a great model for your portfolio.
Have fun.

And in fact it is not even as hard as it would seem first. It's all regular, geometric shapes and (yes indeed) depending on the level of details you want to add, it can be built up from simple to detailed step by step (and this way it's a good piece to practise on).

I am having a little trouble finding the plans...
Anyone know where i can get some? -
Found this, which should help with proportion.
-
hey all
thanks earthmover, but I need something with High detail
can't seem to find the plans i need...
its too complicated a model to do with out perfect plans, sorry....
any other thoughts?
I need some thing that is a lttle less complicated maybe a little smaller?
how about something modern? (does'nt have to be buildings!)
Thanks again!
Taylor, -
Come on Taylor, you can do it!
Gaieus is right, there is a lot to learn when you work your way up, starting off with some primitives. First lesson: keeping it simple. Adams plans seem to be good for a start, they even have a scale.
Don't want to push you, just trying to encourage. -
sorry...
just not happening...
thanks for the encouragement though!....
any other thoughts? -

C´mon, don´t get so discouraged!
Perfect plans are hard to find, but they are not enough anyway - as it was mentioned before, it all depends on LOD you are going to put into it. If it is going to be a highly detailed model, you´ll probably need lots of reference images as well.@dragoonprogramming said:

Now what´s the challenge in that?
EDIT: However, take a look at the http://www.collectibleblueprints.com/Index.html - you might get some ideas and inspiration.
Good luck!
