Hello All, I'm fairly new to layout. Can someone please explain how to apply line weights to a drawing. I need to produce technical drawings from my model, what puzzles me is how to get different line weights with-in one drawing.
Eg, section lines through an object would be 0.5 and line weights further back would be 0.25 or 0.18.

Also, is there a way of showing lines that is below. It would usually be shown as dashed lines.
Eg, Plan view showing drawers below.

      Thanx πŸ˜„

        Hi Rogue,

Line weights (and styles and colours etc.) can only be given to an inserted SU model if you

        • use either vector or hybrid rendering mode
        • explode your inserted SU model (so that you can "access" the individual edges)
Important note: Once you explode your model, you can never relink it to the original SU model (that is; in that view) so let it be the very last step when you are already sure you will not make any changes.

Now when you exploded the model, you keep double clicking on the different entities until you dig down to the individual lines (like with grouped geometry in SU) and can select them individually.

Then once a line is selected, you can change its line attributes in the Shape Style dialog.

        Gai...
