      hi,

can anyone please make a tutorial how to make only the spherical cockpit with all of its details.

here is a link of a great model which I found on the net: http://fractalsponge.net/gallery/Starfighters/TIE%20Fighter/index.html ( I know it's an 3dsMAX model) 😄

a tutorial of how to edit a spherical object like a loudspeaker bowl would be cool too.

      I struggle with such objects.

      cheers and thx

Well, adding surface details on such spherical objects could be accomplished by Fredo6´s Tools On Surface, at least I think so - http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=11212&hilit=surface+tools+fredo
Intersecting that "bowl" with another model could help in further editing.

        Comfortably numb...

Why lost time to modelize that?

Just to add to that - Tools On Surface could help in engraving panel lines - if you don´t want to achieve that by textures, but to extrude such curved surfaces, another Fredo´s plugin could save you a lot of frustration http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=6708&hilit=joint+push+pull
