Dear Jez,

It would be nice to see a tutorial on your work flow, say for a motherboard. This would be interesting for the Newbies and for the technically minded.

I actually haven't created many models myself - the site hosts work by dozens of authors.

The best place to get a workflow would be to ask in the bit-tech.net forums, in particular http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=46003

If you go to your previously referenced link, viz. http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=46003, and try to access the SU model under "click me for sketchup models" in any of the three postings by El Nosbar, then you will see what I mean.

Excatly. Either he is a spammer (disguised) or his site has been hacked an does an automatic redirect to a porn site.

Okay, thanks. I thought you meant my site, not the forums. I've reported it to the mods there, so it will get fixed soon.
