I saw this in the paper today...Nice idea, transparently and simply and appropriately executed, if not priced.

Seems with that tub and sink set, you might not want to move too vigorously, or the water might slosh over the sides.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

I was just playing with something similar after drilling the door handle holes out of 29 doors, I was left with these "Tinker toy" like wooden circles. I started playing with different ways of joining them into objects....
              Then I found this. http://www.carwangallery.com/objects.phpScreen shot 2012-04-29 at 6.11.34 AM.pngScreen shot 2012-04-29 at 6.11.27 AM.pngScreen shot 2012-04-29 at 6.11.09 AM.pngScreen shot 2012-04-29 at 6.13.49 AM.png

              And more of their work.Screen shot 2012-04-29 at 6.12.54 AM.pngScreen shot 2012-04-29 at 6.13.08 AM.png

I am always impressed by objects which have balance, simplicity, and yet are still able to interject visual interest.

(At the risk of looking a little thematic)
Multifunctional kitchen roller prototype that can be split in two halves, each with its own unique function. The Roll & Mix has one half that is an oil bottle and the other a mortar for grinding and mixing. The parts can be threaded together to be used as a roller.

Thanks Tim. I am very impressed at the way many of today's designers hone in on the "idea", and then work through it to come up with such elegant solutions, and as a consequence such functionally beautiful objects.
