Huh? what happened to "lock"

If I recall, if I select an object, then right click, the context menu had an option to lock the object. Somehow I can't find Lock. Directions please?

You can only lock groups/components. Did you try to lock either?

Thanks Gaieus. I didn't know lock was applied only to Groups and components. I grouped the surface and Lock was available.
