      Anyone else experiencing this?

Hold the middle scrollwheel button down, as if you were wanting to orbit. While holding the button down, if you also roll the wheel, then Sketchup reverts to the last active scene, and, if you continue rolling and holding, then Sketchup will scroll through the scenes.

What this basically results in is that it is very difficult to work on a model that has scenes, as every time you slightly roll the wheel while orbiting, Sketchup jumps to a scene and manipulates the appropriate layers so, half the time, what you are modeling on disappears.

      Freaking drives me crazy!

I am using a Logitec mouse and Steermouse as the mouse driver.

I ma interested to see if anyone else gets this, and, if so, is there anything that can be done about it.

      thanks

      Cheers, Chuck

why does it take posting this to solve my year old problem?!

In Steermouse, you can actually give an action to holding the scrollwheel button and scrolling. And, wait for it, mine was set to page up and page down.

I disabled all actions for this and, what do you know, problem solved.

sigh sometimes I amaze even myself...

        Cheers, Chuck
