Hello. I have downloaded curviloft and think it is amazing. However, I find it difficult to trim surfaces created with curviloft. In my mind it should be possible to intersect the surface and then trim. Is that not possible?
Looking forward to hear from anyone with a clue.

      Best reg. Teo

Thank you for the tip Dave. I will try that and see if it works for me too. So far I am using the free version of sketchup

Teo, what problem are you having specifically?

The surface created by Curviloft is a group so in order to change it including creation of an intersection, you'll need to open the group for editing. If you've drawn a shape that you would like to intersect with the curviloft surface you can select the shape and use Edit>Cut to place it on the clipboard. Then open the group for editing and choose Edit>Paste in Place. Select the shape and the Curviloft surface and do the intersection as desired.

Teo, I'm glad that worked out for you.

Your boat looks nice. When I get closer to building the faering, I'll get in touch. I'm sure I could learn a lot from you.
