Thanks Luca for noting the error. I've corrected it now in my posting.

If you don't want to pay for PS then use Gimp.

What does that have to do with anything? Just for fun how about you download the clock model (linked above) and try to duplicate the effect achieved using fotosketcher using Photoshop and/or Gimp? I suspect the challenge will be relatively tough compared with just doing it in fotosketcher.

              Regards, Ross

Ross, that's very good, I like the look of that.

Fotosketcher is getting more and more attention. I noticed a tutorial or 2 at SketchupArtists.com recently. Not only that the author keeps improving Fotosketcher with every version.

I had to try it in Photoshop, with filters of course. It's not quite monochromatic as yours, my eye works differently I guess. Best,PK

OK, a fast five min PP using gimp. Two 2d SU raw outputs combined (opposite lighting). Background color mess using zbrush paintstop.

Looks good Michalis. I like the rusty steel effect.

                      Does Gimp support photoshop-compatible plugins?

Thanks, gimp is an app that looks like Ps but ther are some differences. There are lot of tutorials around.

You need the Gimp plugin [pspi.exe] search in http://registry.gimp.org/search/node/pspi that loads/uses most PhotoShop plugins [.8bf]...
