Accuracy of Version 8 3d Surfaces

As they stated Google did in fact increase the accuracy of the 3d terrains from google earth. Anyone know by how much?

At the presentation, they stated that terrain in america is very much more detailed (golden gate bridge area: up to 6 inches!) but obviously other areas are not so detailed.
I tried with a location I worked on in the past, and the mesh imported is still the same.

The area I live in has been bumped up significantly, it's something now that is actually usable in a model now. Still unsure as to what resolution it is.

I'm looking forward to the future! We still have a (horizontal) resolution of 90m.
