SU animation

I realize that SU's native animations get dumped on a lot, but for me it is a valuable presentation tool. Easy to use, and capable of producing results in a timely manner. I emailed this to a client, the same day we met after making the modification requested.

It's only designers who seem to get so anal about animation. Most people I show my work to are still quite amazed by SU's animation.

Yes, I can see the need for a high end marketing video, and the investment that goes with that, but when ever you have a "just in time" requirement, the basic SU animation gets you what you need, the client's confidence in your work.
Btw, I am sure the standard is different for SOM.

Hm, what about baking textures and cast-shadows, then render the animation in SU without shadows?
I used blender for this baking-render. A SU anim export.
