Keyboard Panning

SketchUp Pro 6.4.265 on Windows XP
In my CAD software I can pan left/right or up/down by using the arrow keys. It also has auto-panning when the cursor touches the edges of the work area. In SketchUp I have to interrupt what I'm doing with the mouse in order to shift the screen around. I find that awkward and time-consuming. Is there any way to Pan without using the mouse?

I use a 3d navigator from 3dconnexion.com. Even though the device can move through six degrees of motion at once, I usually use only 3, so I essentially pan and zoom with my left hand, and work the mouse with my right. It works for my specific workflow in sketchup, but I would imagine it could get troublesome if you use many different tools frequently.

You can zoom, orbit and pan with a 3-button mouse...a video is always better

YouTube - Google SketchUp Toolbar Series: Navigation

Edit: oops, didn't read your post well, you wanted NO mouse
