is it possible to use both versions of sketchup 7.1 simultaneously on my system??

Hi,
No, I am afraid unless you hack your system somehow. Practically both versions are the same (with the Pro having some extra) and use the same system registry.
It was possible with version 5 but since v.6, it has not been possible.

Why not have two plugin's folders. Then rename them before you start SU. No need for two installations. For example this is what I have...

Doesn't that mess up all the menu locations then?

Sure. You will have to re-adjust your toolbars and what not but this is a solution to the original request.
