Layout Presentation Crashing

Well, I am a big fan of layout and what it can do but after today I am having my doubts about it. I had to a presentation today to a very important client of mine on a very important project for my business. I only had a day or so to pull it together so rather than use Powerpoint like I normally do I thought what the heck I will give the LO presentation function a go. I pulled it together in no time. I had several models referenced in along with some JPG images. An hour before the presentation I noticed LO was locking up / showing signs of instability as I was putting the finishing touches to it. It was at this point I started to get worried. I thought that it may not like the shortcut I created to my desk top so I deleted it and decided i would open the presentation straight up from the file.
All should be good right....wrong. half way through the presentation LO locked up and crashed. I had to keep the conversation going with a room of 10 people while I rebooted and opened it up again. Well it did it again and I had to finish the presentation in normal layout format rather than in presentation mode. 
Extremely embarrassing 
and very annoying to say the least.Has anyone else had this problem? I would be interested to hear from you. Not that I will be taking a risk and using it again. I will stick with Powerpoint thanks.

If you send in the file to support with instructions on how to reproduce the crash, they can hopefully fix the problem in a future release.

Are you using a Macbook? I've had many problems with Sketchup and Layout crashing on my Macbook.
