More Templates for Layout

Hi,

I'm trying out Layout an for this I watch many tutorials on youtube.
In some tutorials they use nice templates. Where can I find more layout templates?
Are the templates different in the mac os and in the windows installation?

Hi Marcel,

When you open LO, it offers a bunch of templates (unless you check the box not to show that window every time you start anew document). Otherwise under the file menu, you can access a "New from template" item where you can find all the pre-installed templates.

You can modify these to your needs (or build one from scratch) and then save it as a custom template - just like in SU.

They are built in a way that there is a layer "On every page" in them so all the title blocks and such appear on every page. This layer is locked (to prevent unwanted, incidental changes) so you have to unlock it first (click on the small lock icon in the layer dialog) to make changes.

what I'm looking for are some downloadable finished Layout Templates,
like an Addon.

I'm not that good do to them nicely by my self.

That could easily be done (I mean sharing LO templates) although they are rather specialized and personalized most of the times so this is not what other people generally do.
