He's also using QuadFace Tools and ( either Subdivide and Smooth or Artisan ) for smoothing the low poly mesh.
Occationally he uses a tool there which I don't know the name of.

Wow i saw the 1.1 beta videos and bought it right away. I was interested before, but now i´m super interested. i hope it comes out soon. Great job Thomas.

That is the evolution of Plan Tools. I've updated it with more tools and a toolbar. Pending release.

Maybe because you clicked it while you're on a page restricted to just you?

If I use the gizmo move function, the vertices and the gizmo dissappears and the shown vcb is the result. What's the reson for this behaviour? (rotate and scale funtions are OK...)
