In the same area, a strange and not surely beautiful art deco house situated in the ascent of banks of the Seine towards the Maison de la Radio.
Between 2 and 4 millions of Parisians had seen at least once this house in their life and will recognize it at first glance.

Does it possible to not cut the subject?
It will be more impacting!
And will be make the difference between a report images and architectural images

All the pictures are taken with my poor Iphone camera: the only camera I have everywhere and anytime with me : because it is first of all: a phone!
I promise I shall take a better care in the future.

Quite easy to reproduce in SKP with EEbyLathe 8s + PushPull corner, draw arcs for 'chamfer-end', top edge divides to match [6s] and welded >> EEbyRail with that as profile and melding-profile + arcs as edges; rotate copy x3 to make other corners. Group and smooth.
The pain is applying the textures so that the wood grain is acceptable on all rounded edges etc - Texture _ Hidden-Geom 'on' and lots of eyedropper sampling...

That 'City of London' crest was my old school badge [its founder was a former Lord Mayor of London]...
it brings back memories.........
Our school motto was "Domine dirge nos" [God guide us] - which we always translated as 'God help us!' - which is a much more pathetic cry in English!!
