Just a few lines to introduce myself. I've only just recently started getting more involved in using SketchUp. At first I thought it was "cute" but, not a serious 3D modeler like Solidworks, Pro/E, etc. Recently, I've been seriously looking into explicit modeling to supplement some of the conceptual design deficiencies I have with SolidWorks. I've been looking at SpaceClaim, Autodesk Fusion, and CoCreate. This prompted me to look more closely at what SketchUp has to offer. If it wasn't for the serious graphics bugs, I'd consider using it more.
