Okay so, I downloaded some trees from 3d warehouse which are made of 3 double sided images crossing in the blue axis in the centre so that as you turn the trees around they look 3d.
These worked fine and looked great for a couple of day but now one side of each face has disappeared!

I have looked at all the properties that I can find and the face is still there (the unseen one) so it hasn't been deleted. It still has the texture of the tree (apparently) and is opaque on both sides. When i reverse faces, they swap so i cannot see out of the other one.

I opened previous versions of the model (before this started happening) and they are all disappearing in those. I even downloaded the exact model of the trees from 3d warehouse again and they are dissappearing.

So its something i have done/wrong with the program not the file! What can I do!?

So I downloaded and looked at the file you linked to, and I didn't see anything odd. I wonder if your graphics card driver is doing tricks for you. Transparent PNG textures have sometimes odd problems with SU. You could try if changing the transparency settings to "Medium" or "Nicer" in Window menu>Styles>Edit>Face settings would help, or then upgrading your driver.

Thank you for looking, I will try changing the transparency settings but I don't think it is the driver as the textures worked fine originally.

Will let you know how I get on with the transparency settings!
