Is there a plugin that creates a construction point in the end of each line (line that is not connected to anything) in the model?

I am trying to create a 3D mesh (terrain). I have created lines (with Three Line Tools Plugin) that indicates the height of the terrain in each location. Now, I would like to create a construction point in the end of each line and then use Points to Mesh Plugin to create a terrain.

        Hi Miikka,

        Are those lines vertical?
If so, select all and simply use the "From contours" tool from the sandbox to create the terrain.

Thank you Gaieus for offering to help me!
Actually all the lines are vertical. Anyway, I didn't really get the results that I wanted. Do you know if there is better way to create this kind of terrain mesh. My idea is to create the mesh in Sketchup, create a heightmap and then take the heightmap into UNITY 3D software. As you may see from the pictures, I am trying to create a golf course.

Use only the vertical lines to create the topo. Hopefully they are a different group (or similar) than the existing mesh, aren't they?

Any chance to share the file itself?

I also tried to make the mesh from only vertical lines but I pretty much got the same results. Here is the file in case you have time to test different options.

The problem in your file is that you do not have the vertical pieces compőletely separately from the underlying geometry and it is extremely hard to make selections this way.

Thanks again for your help Gaieus! I deleted the underlying geometry and now I get pretty much the results that I was hoping to get.

Look at the assembly plugin from lss2008 ...

Here an intermediate option, which is ready today: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4885828/lss_toolbar_1_1.zip
before unpacking (or, after) should be removed from the Plugins folder, all the old versions manually (they are now all in the folder will be 'lss_tools' and so when unpacking the surface is not written down)
