I am trying to annotate a welded metal structure that we modeled in SU for a client and contractor and am hitting some roadblocks. Coming from a CAD background I know how what the end product should look like but we almost never annotate in SU - it is used primarily for graphical representations so I'm a bit lost. I digress - I need some welding symbols that will behave like the SU text & leader objects do. i.e. follows the camera, scales like text and so forth. I also need some leader arrows, although for the short time I can fake it and make a component. Do either of those objects exist - as components, scripts or something else?

You should really look at annotating your drawing in Layout, that is one of the things it is designed for, where as Sketchup is not.
You need SU Pro to have Layout. You can always download the 8hr trial version if you do not own it and wish to try it out.
