What is the amount of time it takes Google to post a model on Google Earth? I have done a search for the answer and the best I can get is from GE FAQ which states "several weeks". I am curious if this time frame is correct or have the members of this forum found it to be different (more or less time).
      Thanks,
      ethip

Should be less than "several" (if that means anything) but maybe a "couple" or "some".
        Is this better?

TBH it varies. My latest GE accepted model has been accepted after 10 or 11 days. Sometimes it will take well over a month.

Thank you for your response gentlemen.
To follow up on this question have you or anyone else ever had a model rejected by GE and if so why?

              Sure.

              • Misplacement(actually the imagery was so awful I could not exactly see where I am placing the model and later they added a better imagery where it was indeed misplaced),
              • Incomplete texturing (at the beginning they did not demand photo textures so strictly - but also, how do you take a photo of the top of a 150 metre high TV tower standing solely on a hill top? πŸ˜„ )
              • Model too complex (well, I tend to "elaborate" my models... πŸ˜’ )
