Troubles In Kerkythea
-
Hello all,
I apologize if this has already been posted here, and I'm not sure whether questions like this are allowed in this part of the forum, but I am in desperate need of help. I've downloaded Kerthythea Echo 2008 for my Mac, and after installation (I have tried on several occasions to re-install) when I search my computer for Kerkythea, a folder comes up. The folder contains several other folders and other useless documents. None of them seems to be of any importance and cannot be opened, but one opens up in Terminal. Can that help? I'm a designer, not a programmer, so I'm not sure how "Kerkythea Unit Executable File" is going to help me, because it definitely doesn't look like it. What exactly can I do to get Kerkythea to at least open for me? I always feel so lame not having high-tech renders of my models to show off to everyone! Heheh.PLEASE help,
Lapis Lazuli
(sebastian)A desperate "Sketcher."

dear mate, I am not a mac user, but you can ask your question on kerkythea forum, it is a really helpful place.

You maybe failed to read instructions in download repository "%(#80BF40)[Download the disk image containing the installer of Kerkythea 2008 Echo for MacOSX Tiger/Leopard (version 2.0). The packager contains the universal binary for both Intel/PPC architectures and installs by default in /Applications/Kerkythea folder.
Note: X11 server is required to run the application (you may need to launch Xterm prior to running the application). It is recommended to follow the instructions found in our]associated installation tutorial." -

Hi Lapis Lazuli,
Install kerkythea in applications folder, exec file is called kertkythea. You might not be able to launch the program if you do not have X11 already installed make sure you have it, it should work.
