Useful curved tree line

Well, Oli, I would like to have a spherical background image of the surrounding of my town but possibly all the buildings edited out in PS so that I can use it for my archaeological reconstructions here.

Any chance to fly over here?

Hi Oli,
many thanks for your work. Thank you for your work and that you share it with us. Some days ago i had problems. Today i tried it again and these links are working fine.
Would it be presumptuous to ask what technique you use. I would like to make a contribution.

Oli,
Thanks for the images. They are fantastic.
I haven't used png's in a while, could someone point me to a tutorial that shows how to create the shadow effect shown for the treeline? That's what happens when you don't use a technique for a few years...sigh.
Thanks,
O2bwln
