Video Tutorial Series...
-
So my first video training course has been released -- this is meant primarily for beginners and people with moderate experience with Sketchup and is very comprehensive (if I do say so myself)
The first 16 videos are free for anyone:

Feedback is very welcome!

I am working on a Maxwell Render tutorial series now and plan to focus on Sketchup as the modeling package using the Sketchup to Maxwell plugin -- if anybody has any requests for me to cover a particular topic or issue related to this please let me know.

Here are my latest video training series -- all of them have free videos for the first 3 chapters which may be helpful:
Sketchup Pro 8 13 free videos
Maxwell Render 2 24 free videos
Sketchup to Maxwell Workflow 9 free videos

I think "About me" videos should be free also
-
I agree -- but in a way I'm glad they dont because I always wait until the last minute to do those... I hate recording those "about me" videos because I never know what to say, I just think talking about myself in any way that makes me sound good is pretty vain. I much prefer to be self depreciating
I do my best to keep the focus on learning the software and techniques and not worry too much about how cool I am (or not).

This really isn't a Sketchup tutorial per se but it is very relevant for Sketchup users who want to utilize the power of ZBrush to paint/texture their models.
I used Sketchup Pro to export the OBJ file that was used in this demo -- but if you have another OBJ exporter plugin it should work just as well... and of course when you are done you can just import the OBJ back into Sketchup using one of the import plugins.
