Cool! Any idea of the Number of facettes / Size file of a such complete architecture object ?
-
Wild! Fantastic but so real and intricate! Would like to see some of your buildings in real life.

I love your work man, mostly your awesome ship. Could you maybe explane how you did your engines?

@ Carsten and Alvydas: thanks for your kind words. @rens282 said: I love your work man, mostly your awesome ship. For modeling, I use Sketchup basic tools as wells plugins like TIG's Extrude tools, Fredo's Joint Push Pull, Fredo's Scale, Draw Taper, just to name a few that I use the most for this kind of model. @unknownuser said: Cool!

Sure, these are not sci-fi... but here are a few of the projects I worked on from 1998 to 2003 while I was with VLK Architects (http://www.vlkarchitects.com/) before I quit my job to move to San Francisco and work for the game/film industries. but here are a few of the projects I worked on from 1998 to 2003 while I was with VLK Architects (http://www.vlkarchitects.com/) before I quit my job to move to San Francisco and work for the game/film industries. That's how I started learning SketchUp for Architecture when it came out in Fall of 2000. I was either in charge of a project as the main designer or working with the Design Director on a bigger project for these buildings below. Take care, _KN

Maybe we should have a subfolder under "most impressive Sketchup modeling" and have Ken post all his work there.

@daniel said: Maybe we should have a subfolder under "most impressive Sketchup modeling" and have Ken post all his work there. LOL...thank you for your kind words, Daniel. But I believe there are many talented people in this forum who deserve their own "most impressive Sketchup modeling" subfolder. I have seen lots wonderful models and renders. Keep them coming. You all inspire me. All the Best, _KN
